A nticipation fills my soul as I await the day when

L aughter fills the nursery as I bow my head to pray.
A sking God to bless and keep this unborn child I love.
D reams and plans are vivid as I seek the Lord above.
Y ou're everything I hoped for and I think I almost see

I n you a part of Daddy and a little bit of me!

W hen passing life to someone new makes my life full and real.
A dainty ballerina dancing in a dress of lace?
I see a baseball player scurrying fast to make first base!
T he part of me that's half of you is yours and yours alone.
I feel fulfilled for this could be the greatest joy I've known.
N ever could I match the feeling that I feel for you.

I couldn't call you © so I thought that I might write ©
You're in my thoughts throughout the day and in my dreams at night
I long so much to hear your voice and talk to you again ©
And share my thoughts and feelings like we used to way back when
I wish that I could ask you "how're you doing?"
and "what's new?"
I wonder if you think of me the way I think of you.
I know you must be happy for it's lovely where you are.
In a land of sunshine bright where you can touch a star.

Mom © I miss you laughter © and your cooking © and your touch
The little things we share between us that have meant so much
I better close this message Mom with all the love it brings.
And ask the Lord to send it now upon an angel's wings
And speed it to you in the way the eagle swiftly flies
It seems like only yesterday
You left for paradise.

A MEAN MOTHER
( 5x7 Print - 05110 )
( 8x10 Print - 0043

A mean mother never allows candy or sweets
To take the place of a well balanced meal.
A mean mother insists on knowing where
Her children are at all times. She also makes a
Point of knowing her children's friends and
Requires them all to come to the door to meet
Her whenever they come to her home.
A mean mother breaks the child labor laws
By making her children workmaking
Their beds, learning to cook, washing the dishes,
Taking out the garbage, cleaning their rooms
And other cruel and unpleasant chores.
She expects proper groomingbrushing
Their teeth, combing their hair, wearing clean
Clothes and keeping a neat appearance.
A mean mother requires her children to
Excel in school and to achieve their full potential.
She demands that all homework be completed.
A mean mother makes life miserable and
Unbearable by insisting her children always tell
The truth. She teaches her children to respect
Themselves as well as the feelings, property, and
The rights of others.
A mean mother produces teenagers who are
Wiser and more sensible. Her inner joy comes
When she sees in them the part of her she tried
So very hard to instill. She can smile with
Secret delight and pride when she hears her own
Grandchildren call their parents 'mean'!
What this world needs are more
'Mean Mothers'!

SHE MUST BE AN ANGEL / MOTHER
( 5X7 Print - 05422)

( 8x10 Print - 0398)
* Poetry by: Lindsey Smit

She must be an angel sent from above
Her heavenly touch is a symbol of love.
Her job is to love and to give special care
But with this woman there is so much more there
The attention she shows is so true and so real
It's like nothing else you could ever feel
Her personality makes her so outgoing
And respect for you she'll never quit showing.
She'll walk with you through good times and bad
And she'll dry your tears when you're feeling sad.
She's given so much . . . her time energy and care
When you need to talk she always has time to spare
She listens so close and holds you so tight
When you are lost she shows you the light
She'll tell you how beautiful and loved you are
But it wasn't her kind words that found room in my heart
She could never compare to any other
And I thank God that she's
my
Mother

ANOTHER SLEEPLESS NIGHT

Written by : Margie Starke

In a few more dayswe'll be apart
And we'll never be as close as we are today.
You are warm and safePROTECTEDinside my womb.
I feel you kick and I rub you back.
The bond that has formed between you and I is so great that it has
The Strength of Steel
The Majesty of a Mountain
The Power of the Rushing Wind
And the Light of Day.
You are my child
You will Always be a part of me.
A love so strong consumes us
Beyond what words can say
I Love You so much
And so does Daddy!
We wonder how you will look
Will you have the curve of my smile?
Or the sparkle of your Daddies eyes?
What will your interests be?
Can we keep you from Harm's Way?

There's so much we're waiting to share with you.
Soon it will be time for you to leave the angels
And come to be with us.
Part of me can't wait to hold youand see you grow.
The other part of me is savoring
Every precious instant
Of the last few moments that I have you inside me.
You're kicking me again
It has been another sleepless night
Time to wake up
Daddy!

DEAR MOTHER WHAT A TREASURE
Written by : Margie Starke
( 8x10 Print - 0009 )

Dear Mother-what a treasure
From this moment you will see
Your heart will soon open
To so much Loveabout to be!
A Love so intense
Yet so gentle and caring
A feeling of awe-at the beauty of sharing.

This sweet child of yours
Will enrich your life so and

In just a few moments
Will help you grow!

From woman to mother
You'll be swept away!

You'll be so very thankful
To share each new day!

Take time to have patience
For endless demands
And allow time to comfort
Those small pleading hands

The Love that created
Your precious dear child

Is your ultimate gift from heaven
God looked down and smiled!

A CHILD'S ANGEL

( 8X10 Print - 0300)

Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born.
So one day he asked God They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow
But how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?

God replied Among the many angels, I chose one for you . . .
She will be waiting for you and will take care of you.

But tell me here in heaven I don't do anything else but sing and smile;
that's enough for me to be happy.

Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day;
and you will feel your angel's love and be happy

And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me
if I don't know the l the language men talk?

Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear.
And with much patience and care your angel will teach you how to speak.?

And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you ?

Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.

I've heard that on earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?

Your angel will defend you even you even if it means risking it's life.

But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.

Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you
the way for you to come back to me even though I will always be next to you.

At that moment there was much peace in heaven but voices from earth could already be heard
and a child in a hurry asked softly . . .
O, God if I'm about to leave now please tell me my angels' name.
Your angels' name is of no importance you
will call your angel
Mommy.

DON'T LET ME FORGET, LORD
( 8x10 Print - 0380 )

Dear Lord . . .
If ever I am given the privilege of having a child,
please don't let me forget this road
I have traveled.

Don't let me forget the tears that have been shed,
the long restless nights, the longings of the heart.

Don't let me forget the pain - both physical and emotional,
or the times when I needed so badly to hear someone say,
I care or Do you need to talk about it?

Don't let me forget the times of quiet reflection,
the lessons you taught me in patience,
coping, understanding and faith.

Most of all, dear Father, don't let me forget
how you were always there for me . . .
even when I rejected your peace and love.

Lord, help me remember all of these things,
So that if ever someone I know
has to travel this same road,
they won't be as alone as sometimes I have been.

I will be able to say to them
I don't know where your road ends,
but I know the way is rough
and I will be your friend on this journey.
Lord, don't let me forget.
In Jesus precious name,
AMEN

In time to dry a tear.
And while she cheers to praise the team
She just prays to stay warm.

Your kindness and devotion can't compare to any other
For you were hereboth then and now
in absence of our Mother.
Your caring ways and dedication radiate a love.
That only through you faith and prayers
bring strength from up above.
In times of difficulty thenyou must have felt confused
As we grew older And In Awe how you kept us amused
In spite of your own pain and insecurity and fears
You shared your laughter freely managing to hide the tears.
You never faltered through the years
You opened up your heart
Your home and everything you had
to give us all a start.
Our deepest prayers are with you now
that God returns to you
in one hundred fold again
all goodness kind and true.

IN THE EYES OF MY MOTHER

( 8x10 Print - 0270 )

If I seek to understand the nature of God's love
I need only look in the eyes of my Mother.
To me . . . she reflects Gods' special sunshine . . .
Sent to light my faulting walk in the darkness of this world.
And if I fall or stumble down
Her quiet hands are always there
Waiting to lift me.
What love is this ?
So faithful and undying.
So full of sacrifice.
A love I have never earned.
Surely this must be from Heaven.
An extension of Gods' eternal frame of love.
Which is kindled to reflect
Through
the eyes
of my
Mother.

From you I came, you were so young
You gave your all from sun to sun.
You helped me learn to laugh and sing
To grow with friends to dance with wings!

With every year excitement grew
Your baby's older . . . no longer new.
You encouraged me in every way,
I'm proud of you, my turn to say

Your grace taught me to walk with pride
Your faith blessed me from deep inside.
Your love guided me through old and new
Your tears show me your love is true.

I look ahead and see beginning's not the end
Together, Mom, we'll take the path around the bend.
So much ahead is starting in this life you gave to me
Holding hands and laughing, a team for all to see.

So it is time to ask the question . . .
And please try not to cry.
Am I ready? A suggestion
From a twinkle in Dad's eye.

Mighty ball of energy he always keeps her guessing.
Mommy's answer to her prayers . . . her precious, little blessing.
Young at heart a Mother stays through all his hugs and kisses.
She always has the time for all his tricks she seldom misses.

Before the day is over they're both ready for a nap.
Of all his favorite places his first choice is Mommy's lap.
Yawning . . . he drifts off to sleep in Mommy's loving care.
What a comfort knowing that
his Mommy's always there.

MOTHER OF THE BRIDE
( 8x10 Print - 0220 )

There once was a baby I cradled in my arms.
Cherishing her smile, her sweetness and charms.
She was my littlest love to dress and hold.
To hug and kiss and sometimes scold.
The tea parties we shared, the books we read.
Chicken soup and movies and prayers before bed.
School projects done at midnight, friendships and fun.
Sleepovers and giggles, beach parties in the sun.
Sweet sixteen memories, the Homecoming dance.
I held it all or was it merely a glance?
For the years have flown, so quickly, so fast.
That sometimes I'm here but my hearts in the past.
I've made mistakes, cried softly in the night.
But look at her today! Wow! I did something right!

She's a bride so enchanting the essence of love.
May all her tomorrows be blesses from above.
Life with so much promise moves along with the tide.
Thank you, Lord for such joy
I'm the

( 8x10 Print - 0102 )

There are two to wash
and two to dry.
Two who laugh and two who cry!
Double the diapers
Double the pins
Why were we chosen to be the
Parents of twins?
The answer comes clear at the
End of the day
As we tuck them into bed
And silently say
There are two to kiss and
Two to hug

But best of all
There are two
To
Love!
