A GAELIC BLESSING
AN IRISH FAREWELL ( SM )
May you have good fortune . . .
May you have good fortune . . .
O DANNY BOY
And if you come, when all the flowers are dying
And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me
And all your
And until we meet again…
May the Lord hold you
YOUR IRISH EYES
( 0485 - 8x10 Print 8x10 Shamrock Mat )
For I know you cannot stay
I’ll be waiting ‘til we’re back together
one fine day!
May you feel my presence through the
memories we hold dear
May God hold you in His palm
And keep you ever near.
Hold on to these precious times
Although we are apart . . .
And don’t forget . . .
YOUR IRISH EYES
Shine always in my heart!
Sift flour once, measure, add sugar, baking powder and sod, and
May your heart be as light as
May each day bring you bright,
That stay with you
THE IRISH
Strange blend of shyness, pride and conceit,
He's spoiling and ready to argue and fight
His eyes are the quickest to well up in tears
His faith is as fierce as his devotion is grand
He's wild and he's gentle . . . he's good and he's bad
He's in love with the ocean . . . the earth and the skies
He's victor and victim . . . a star and a clod . . .
MAY GOD GRANT YOU A SUNBEAM
Kiss Me

The Kellys and O'Malleys dance the Irish jig for you!
For great corned beef and cabbage there are always the O'Brians
Who team up in the kitchen with the help of all the Ryans
The Kelseys and O'Learys now are boiling up some cheer.
With the famous Irish coffee that has been tradition here.
The Flannigans and Lannigans always find ways to quench their thirst
While waiting for the leprechans to bet who sees them first!
A Sullivan is singing harmony with an O'Brady
While trying to find the Blarney Stone's a job for an O'Grady.
For a celebration with a group
That's sure to please…
Don't forget the Rileys, the Morans
And the
McGees!

I'll be waiting 'til you're called to join me one fine day.
May you feel my presence through the memories we hold dear
May God hold you in His palm and keep you ever near
Hold on to these precious times, be thankful for our love
And don't forget . . .
That Irish Eyes shine on you
from above.

appropriate for when someone moves or retires.
May your troubles all be few

There are only two things to worry about
Either you are well or you are sick.
If you are well . . .
Then there is nothing to worry about.
But if you are sick . . .
There are two things to worry about.
Either you will die or you will get well.
If you get well there is nothing to worry about.
If you die . . .
There are only two things to worry about.
Either you will go to heaven or you will go to hell.
If you go to heaven . . . there is nothing to worry about.
But if you go to hell . . .
You'll be so damned busy shaking hands with friends

May God be with you and bless you.
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortune, rich in blessings
May you know nothing but happiness
from this day forward.
( 8x10 Print - 0341 )
May those who love us, love us;
And those who don't love us
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts . . .
then may He turn their ankles
so that we may know them
by their
limping.

Being Irish
He had an abiding
Sense of
TRAGEDY
Which sustained him
Through temporary
Periods of
JOY!
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
You'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an "Ave" there for me.
And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me
I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

For every storm, a rainbow
For every tear, a smile
For every care, a promise
And a blessing in each trial
For every problem life sends
A faithful friend
To share
For every sigh,
A sweet song
And an answer
For every
Prayer.
Many years to live
For
Surely he must be knowing
The earth has
Angels
All too few
And Heaven's
Overflowing.
Be as glad as the shamrocks
A song.
Happy hours…
All
Year long.

What shall I say about the Irish ?
The utterly impractical . . . never predictable
Something irascible, quite inexplicable, Irish.
And stubborn refusal to bow in defeat.
Yet the smile of a child fills his soul with delight.
Yet his strength is so strong that he'll banish your fears.
And there's no middle ground on which he will stand
He's proud and he's humble . . . he's happy . . . he's sad.
He's enamored with beauty . . . wherever it lies.
But mostly he's
IRISH
And
in love with his God.
