As always I am lost for words that say just how I feel. ©

Dedicated to a Dad who's really been ideal.
Encouragement and patience that you gave so lovingly ©
All your efforts made a better person out of me!
Recalling how we often took the bitter we the sweet…

Forging on to find a way and overcome defeat!
All in all it made us stronger through each trial and test.
To me you've been my hero and as Father…You're the best!
How can I repay you for a lifetime full of love?
Each day is filled with wishes for a dad I'm truly proud of.
Remember Dad We're locked together through this bond we share
And life's taken on such meaning in just knowing that
You're there!

Look up to…

It takes someone
Very special to be a
DAD!

BECAUSE HE WAS MY FATHER

Because he was honest . . .
I know the value of character.
Because he was hard working . . .

Because he taught me humility
I know that success is more than just material things.
Because he was understanding . . .
I see the beauty in forgiveness.
Because he was willing to sacrifice . . .
I appreciate the importance of putting others first.
Because he had compassion . . .
I know there is strength in gentleness.
Because he had human faults . . .
I know love does not demand perfection.
Because he was and is my
Father . . .
he remains with me
all the days of my life.

J2144 - DADS' WORKSHOP
Written by : Jill
Fantinã

Do Not Enter! Except at risk the DOOM befalls…
All the things that Dad holds dear are kept behind these walls!
Dad is Captain of this Ship and on each wall and shelf
So carefully stacked are all the things that let Dad be himself.

With confidence a Dad creates a bust atmosphere…
Of fine precision…all the plans to build begin right here.
Remember when you enter here you are on foreign soil!
Keep your hands restrained form all the paints and grease and oil.
Savor every moment that you sneak a peak within. For if
He see you stalking…he'll forbid you to come in.
Only 'Master of the Craft' can enter here so….STOP!
Please respect the privacy of Dad in his workshop!

05019 - DAD . . . I WANT YOU TO KNOW
* Availabe in "I" or "WE" . . .
please specify

Dad . . . I want you to know
That all the stars aren't really in the sky
. ©© Sometimes they
speak
And walk on earth because I've known
One in my time ….
Dad…you might
Never receive a reward for all you've done in
Life. You might not receive a medal, but then
Again you might. ©©
It seems to me you've lived your life
Not for what you could get. It seems to me
You've lived that your Loved ones needs
Were met. © So if that's the only medal
You ever wanted reward, let me
Give one this day to my very own
Star.

05354 - DAD . . . THE MORE I SEE MYSELF
TURNING INTO YOU

Dad . . . the more I see myself
turning into you . . .
The more I realize
how
Perfect
you are !

05028 - DAD . . . YOU DREAM

Dad
You dream…You plan…You struggle…
That we might have the very best
Your sacrifice is quiet,
Your life is love
Expressed!

( 5x7 - J5053 )
Did I ever tell you . . . You're the apple of my eye?
An image of your Mother . . . what a lucky Dad am I .
During hectic days sweet thoughts of you just seem to linger . . .
Did you know your Daddy's wrapped around your little finger?
You're everything that's precious , Dear, and all things that are pure.
Since your presence blessed my life . . . there's one thing that's for sure. .
.

God formed you to perfection . . . I see His love in you
I've come to feel His fervent grace in ways I never knew
Remember when the winds of life gave your heart in a whirl . . .
Lean on me at any age . . . You'll still be Daddy's Girl!

DADDYS' GIRLS
Written by : Jill Fantinã
( 8x10 Print _ J2017 )

Dainty as a flower bud that soon becomes a rose.
A day (too soon) will come when bobby socks turn into hose!
Daddys' girls are his alone but only for today.
Doves in all their beauty leave the nest and fly away.
You're everything that's precious and a father's dream-come-true.
'
So many of God's blessings are wrapped up in all of you.

Giggles, teddy bears, and prayers and dolls and 'havine tea'.
I know that all too soon those things that 'mean so much' will be…
Replaced with perfume, satin, lace, and diamond rings and pearls.
Loving you will stay the same…You'll still be 'Daddys' Girls!"
Somehow through memories you'll be as precious as today
And in my heart you'll stay more dear than words
Could ever say!
DADDYS' BOY
Written by : Jill Fantinã
( 5x7 Print - J5059 )
( 8x10 Print _ J2014 )

Dads have dreams but at the end of every single one
Awaits the hope that someday he will have that special son.
Dads look forward to a time when they can just enjoy . . .
Doing things together as he did as a young boy.
You have filled my every need . . . you're all I ever hoped for.
So many blessings come through you . . . I couldn't ask for more.

Beyond my hopes and expectations
Over and above . . .
You've captured my affection and my never failing lov

DADDYS' BOYS
Written by : Jill Fantinã
( 8x10 Print _ J2015 )

Digging in the garden or just helping in the yard
All my little helpers stay so busy dusk 'til dawn,
Dragging tools here and there from Daddy's old tool shed.
Dabbling in mischief when there's chores to do instead.
Your intentions are enormous though accomplishments are few.
'
Somehow, in spite of everything I couldn't live without you!

Better late, than never, as your prayers have all been said.
Often I'm reminded as I tuck you all in bed…
Your kisses and "I Love You's" are among my greatest joys.
So don't forget…no matter what…
You're still your Daddys' boys!

DADDY'S
SHADOW
Written by : Jill
Fantinã
( 5x7 Print - J5085D )
( 8x10 Print _ J2130D )

Daddy has two shadows © so he never is alone.
One belongs to his little boy © The other is his own.
They say two heads are better than only having one.
So "Daddy's Little Shadow" helps him see the job
Gets done!
His workbench is their playground…His tools
Are their toys.
No job ever seems too hard © when mixing work with
Joys.
And though the tools are scattered © when busy days
Are done…
They're both asleep in Grandpa's chair
Worn out from all
The
Fun!

Daddy has so many shadows © he never is alone.
The small ones are his childrens' © The big one is his own.

THE FATHER OF THE BRIDE
( 8x10 Print - 0123)
( 5x7 Print - 05325 )

As we stroll proudly down the aisle,
my mind races to early years ©
when I used to skin my knees
and you'd wipe away my tears.

Where did those tender years go?
Am I ready for a new stage of life?
And what about me cavalier young man?
Is he ready for a wife?

This time you'll give me up for good ©
Not just for a Saturday night.
You hope that all my needs are met,
And that this bond is right.

There's so much that I'll have to learn
When the ups and downs get rough.
Like patience and forgiveness
You hope I'll have enough.

We've almost reached the aisles' end ©
It went by much too fast
We'll need more hours than this
To fondly remember the past

I'm letting go of your arm now
And the feeling tugs at your heart
But you know that even a husband's love
Can never replace your part.

You've done your best to let me grow
And played the role of guide
I'll be your daughter forever
So today I can be the Bride!

HAPPY FATHERS' DAY
Written by : Jill Fantinã
( 8x10 Print _ J2033 )

How often I've considered Dad Your never failing strength.
And when it comes to helping how you'll go to any length.
Perhaps its through your thoughtfulness You extra little touch.
Patience and encouragement and love that mean so much.
Yet just when I've considered all the things that I adore.

For every one I think of I still find a million more!
A guy can be a "Father" but when it comes to "Dad"…
To me you've been the "greatest" anybody ever had.
How often its occurred to me how richly I was blessed.
Each time you'd overlook my faults and only saw my best.
Remember that "I Love You" for you're in my every thought.
'
So I'm forever thankful for the blessings you have brought.

Dad You grow more dearer like the days that come and go.
All are treasured in my heart I wanted you to know.
You've touched my life and formed my thoughts in your own special way
I Love You Dad for in my heart each day is
Father's Day!

IRISH FATHER
( 8x10 Print _ 0310S ( shamrock ) )
* this print fits in an 8x10 shamrock mat

God made a special person with
a twinkle in his eye.
A smile on his loving face;
A person strong and wise.
I call this man my Father
a descendant of the sod.
My
Father
here on earth to love;
My special gift
From
God.

M. D. ( MY DADDY )
( 5x7 Print - 05360 )
( 8x10 Print _ 0044 )

Whenever Daddy signs his name
He always writes M.D.
So people all will know
That he belongs to me,
For M.D. means "My Daddy"
Or something just the same.
And that is why he always puts
These letters in his name.
Some letters in his name are small
But these are not you see…
He always makes them big like that,
Cause he's so proud
Of me!
The rules we'll need to live.

MY HEART BELONGS TO DADDY

ONLY A DAD
( 8x10 Print - 0141)

Only a Dad…with a tired face,
Coming home from the daily race;
Bringing little of gold and fame…
To show how well he has played the game,
But glad in his heart that his own rejoice
To see him come home and to hear his voice.

Only a Dad…of a brood of four,
One of ten million men or more,
Plodding along in the daily strife,
Bearing the whips and scorns of life
With never a whimper of pain of hate,
For the sake of those who at home await.

Only a Dad…neither rich nor proud,
Merely one of the surging crowd,
Toiling, striving from day to day.
Facing whatever may come his way,
Silent whenever the harsh condemn,
And bearing it all for the love of them.

Only a Dad…but he gives his all
To smooth the way for his children small
Doing with courage stern and grim,
The deeds that his father did for him
These are the lines that I pen…
For only a Dad…
But the best
Of men!

THAT LITTLE CHAP
( 8x10 Print _ 0116 )

A careful man I want to be…
A little fellow follows me…

I do not dare to go astray
For fear he'll go the self-same way.

I cannot once escape his eyes
Whatever he sees me do he tries!

Like me, he says he's going to be
That little chap that follows me.

He thinks that I am big and fine…
And believes in every word of mine.

The bad in me…he must not see.
My life to him must an example be

I must remember as I go
Through summer's sun and winter's snow…

I'm building for the years to be
For that little chap that
Follows me.

WHAT MAKES A DAD?
( 5x7 Print - 05362 )
( 8x10 Print _ 0084 )

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagles flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need.
Then God combined these qualities.
When there was no more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete…
And so He called him
Dad!

THERE ARE LITTLE EYES

( 8x10 Print _ 0124 )

There are little eyes upon you
And they're watching night and day.
There are little ears that quickly
Take in ever word you say.
There are little hands all eager
To do anything you do
And a little child who's dreaming
Of the day he'll be like you!

There's a wide eyed little child
Who believes you're always right…
And his ears are always open
He watches you day and night
You are setting an example
Every day in all you do…
For the little child who's waiting
To grow up to be like
You!
