0317 - CHRISTMAS TIME
Written by : Margie StarkeÓ
( 8x10 Print - 0317 )

Candles flickering, candles glowing,
Hugging, kissing, mistletoeing
Gift wrap, ribbon, pretty bows,
Behavin' good 'cause Santa knows!
Singing caroles through the night,
Snow-flecked streets, a glorious sight!
Merry Christmas! Jingle bells,
Baking cookies, yummy smells.
Snowmen, Angels, Let it snow!
Traditions passed from long ago.
Wise men came they traveled far . . .
Leading us to Heavens' star.
Enjoy the days throughout the season
But don't forget the real reason . . .
Baby Jesus born this day
In our hearts
May
Christmas stay!

I BELIEVE IN SANTA
( 5x7 Print - 05417 )
( 8x10 Print - 0272 )

Dear Children
Now that you are older
I will tell you a secret
No matter what anyone says . . .
Santa Clause is not your parents
He is the parents we wish we were
Riding high and free above your heads
Pulled by enchanted reindeer
Bringing gifts for you
that could never be less than perfect
I believe in Santa
Oh yes . . . I believe.

05375 - IF YOU BELIEVE . . . THEN HE WILL COME
( 5x7 Print - 05375 )

If you
Believe . . .
then he will
come!

JESUS IS THE REASON
( 5x7 Print - 05198 )

Jesus
Is the reason
For the
Season!

SEASONS' GREETINGS
( 8x10 Print - 0277 )

Seasons' Greetings
From

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE JESUS CAME
( 8x10 Print - 0325 )

'Twas the night before Jesus came
and all through the house
Not a creature was praying not even my spouse.
Their Bibles were laying on the shelf without care
They never thought Jesus would ever come there.

The children were dressing to crawl into bed
Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And Mom in her rocker and baby on her lap
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

When out form the east there arose such a clatter . . .
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
With a light from the sun setting forth a bright ray
I knew in a moment . . . this must be "The Day!"

The light on His face made me cover my head
It was Jesus returning . . . just like He said!
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth
I cried when I saw Him, in spite of myself.

In the book of life which He held in His hand
Was written the name of every saved man.
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name
When He said" It's not here!" my head hung in shame.

Believers whose names had been written with love
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready He rose without sound
While all the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees but it was too late.
I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight
Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear
The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call
We'll find that the Bible was true
After all.

WE WISH YOU COZY NIGHTS
( 5x7 Print - 05199 )
( Christmas )

We
Wish
You
Cozy nights
And
Twinkling lights.
A home alive with
Musical sounds and
Childish delights. A
Wish
Come
True
A snowflake or two…
And someone small to
Share it with you!

I'M SPENDING CHRISTMAS
( Also Available In "We're")
( 5x7 Print - 05232 )
( 8x10 Print - 0125 )

I see the countless Christmas trees
Around the world below
With tiny lights, like heavens' stars
Reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular
Please wipe away a tear
For I am spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year

I hear the many Christmas songs
That people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare
With the Christmas choir up here

For I have no words to tell you
Joy their voices bring
For it is beyond description
To hear an angel sing

I know how much you miss me
For I feel your breaking heart…
But through our memories so dear
We're never far apart.

I can't tell you of the Splendor
Or the peace here in this place.
Can you just imagine Christmas
With Our Savoir face to face?

I'll ask Him to light your spirit
As I tell Him of your love
So then pray for one another
As you lift your eyes above.

So please let your hearts be joyful
And let your spirits sing.
For I'm spending Christmas in heaven
And I'm walking with
The King!
